Home Delivery

 

We are excited to announce that home delivery of our beef is coming soon. We will offer delivery across the whole of Victoria with refrigerated transport. The vast majority of areas will revive delivery on the Friday listed on the sales page. Some regional areas will receive delivery the following Saturday, Tuesday or Thursday.

Delivery Process

  • You will be sent an ‘order confirmation’ via sms or email when your order has been received.
  • You will receive a text message with a tracking link the evening before delivery, a text message when delivery is close and another text message on delivery with a photograph for evidence. Delivery drivers will also knock or ring the doorbell/intercom when making the delivery.
  • The delivery service has the ‘authority to leave.’ If there is a safe space to leave your order, the driver will do so.
  • All deliveries will be left unattended (subject to any reasonable directions from you with your order).
  • We do not accept requests for specific delivery times. Our delivery service will provide an ETA of your delivery and will leave your order in your absence (if there is a safe space to do so). We will not issue refunds if orders are delivered outside of the planned delivery time frame.
  • Please provide detailed delivery instructions in the field at checkout (ie on the front porch or foyer apartment access code). If your nominated delivery address is an apartment, unit or other secured building you must provide the code, instructions or such other means to ensure delivery can left safely.
  • Your order will be delivered in an insulated cardboard box with an ice pack. The safety of the product becomes your responsibility on delivery.

  • $20 delivery fee for orders under $100, for orders $100 or more, delivery is FREE

Terms and Conditions for Home Delivery

  • Your beef will be butchered by the expert butchers at Meatsmith to the highest possible standard, then packed and delivered in refrigerated transport. See our delivery page for more information.
  • All of our cows are unique in age, genetic heritage.  The beef from one animal may be different to the next. We endeavour to produce the highest quality beef and select cows once the reach optimal condition. Breed information for the beef you purchase will be updated  in our shop.
  • Our beef is full flavoured and from mature animals. We recommend keeping your steaks cooked on there rare side. Make sure you give your low and slow cuts the time they need to be tender and ‘falling apart’.
  • We are unable to accept returns but if you have a question about your order please get in touch by email and we will do our best to leave you happy and satisfied.
